I have been practicing law for more than 50 years and have tried more than 100 jury trials in the state and federal courts in multiple states. I have decided to represent poor people charged with crimes in the state district courts of Oklahoma.
My charge for representing a client is only $100 each time I put on a suit and tie and appear before a judge on behalf of a client. For appearances outside of Tulsa, the charge for the appearance is still $100, but there is a $1 per mile mileage charge.
A $300 retainer fee is required for Tulsa cases and $300 plus mileage for rural county cases.
If a client wants a bench or jury trial, the charge is $800 per day.
